Susan Anthony Kennedy

Susan Anthony Kennedy age 74 of South Bend, passed away March 28, 2023, at 12:34 am from a battle with cancer. Susan was born on March 19, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana. Susan graduated with her bachelor's degree from IU South Bend and was employed as the copy desk chief at the South Bend Tribune for over 33 years. In August of, 2011, she married Christian Luciani.

Surviving is her husband, Christian Luciani of South Bend, her sister, Elisabeth Repka, her nephew Michael Hall, and her niece, Laura Richardson.

There will be no formal services for Susan.  Her family asks that you remember her in your own special way.  Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted in her care.  

Susan loved to listen to Big Band Music and going out dancing. She also enjoyed spending time collecting antiques, restoring old lamps, and working with stained glass.

Her life touched many during her time on Earth and everyone that knew her, loved her. She will be greatly missed but will live on through the memories and in the hearts and minds of those she has left behind.
