Delores (Jones) Williams

Delores Williams, age 61 of Mishawaka, entered into the joys of Heaven on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  Delores was born August 27, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio.  She was employed by TRANSPO from 2002-2019 and later with Venture Logistics where she served as a truck driver until recently. On August 21, 1993, she married Louis Mac Williams in South Bend.  He preceded her in death in July of 1999.

She is survived by her children Dartanian Alli of South Bend, Ardelia (Cory) Naragon, and Karnel Jones, both of Mishawaka.  Surviving as well are her beloved grandchildren Chellai Harness, Uriah Naragon and Elon Naragon, her sister Luvenia Hooten, and a host of nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Lucy Jones, her siblings Anna Martin, Kenneth McIntosh and Ronnie Lee Jones, her niece, Felicia Ann Underwood and her nephew Kollie Lamont McClendon.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home (formerly Goethals and Wells) in Mishawaka. Bishop Charles Wiseman will officiate the 12pm funeral service at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home immediately following visitation.

Delores loved spending time outdoors tending to her plants and flowers and developed quite a green thumb over the years.  She also loved reading, spending time with her close friends whom she loved dearly, and being an incredible mom and grandmother to her children and grandchildren whom she adored.
