Cloyd G. “Casey” Case, 82, of Mishawaka passed away peacefully after a long battle with COPD on Monday, November 6, 2023.

He was born on August 31, 1941, in Jewett, Ohio and was the son of the late Edward and Osa (Smith) Case. Cloyd was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth (Case) Watson, three sisters and four brothers.

He retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years of service, and proudly served his country in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Janet D. Anthony, formerly of Cochraton, PA; their daughter, Diana Roxanne Case of Warsaw, son David (Sherry) Case of Morganton, NC, four grandsons, Dustin and Levi Watson, and Chad and Michael Case. Two great-grandchildren, Deovion Norris and Parker Watson, with one more due in December Brody Michael Case, all of North Carolina. His sister Darlene (Case) Abel of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews including Sandra Sheller and Janet Wickline of Ohio.

Cremation has been entrusted to Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home, Mishawaka. There are no services scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life next summer in Ohio, specific dates and times will be announced at a later date.
