Rosemary J Sterzik

Rosemary J. Sterzik, age 98 of South Bend, passed away on November 29, 2025. Rosemary was born May 31, 1927, in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Clarence and Genevieve (Schmitt) Jones. She was a graduate of Mishawaka High School, class of 1946. On June 5, 1949, she married Jack A. Sterzik. They celebrated nearly 65 years of marriage before his passing in May of 2014.

She is survived by her cousins Mary (Ernie) Cottrill, of South Bend and Bob Hillebrand of Granger, along with her niece, Sheri Boone-Pittman of Tempe, Arizona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, Indiana with private interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

Rosemary was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, loved to travel, and enjoyed spending time at her cottage on Cobert Lake in Michigan.
