Lisa Raenae Williams, lovingly known as Lisa Linn, was born on December 3, 1968, in Niles, Michigan, to William Linn and Sherry Linn (White). She was a proud graduate of Galien High School and earned recognition on the Dean’s List at Southwestern Michigan College. Lisa paused her academic journey to focus on raising her three beloved children, while working diligently at the Niles Daily Star, Nick’s Patio, and Morris Park Country Club.
Later in life, Lisa pursued her passion for helping others by enrolling at Ivy Tech, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing. She went on to serve her community with compassion at Michiana Hematology Oncology and later as a school nurse for South Bend Community Schools.
Lisa’s life was centered around her family. She found immense joy in decorating and hosting holiday gatherings, especially her cherished annual Christmas parties—complete with special visits from Santa Claus. Her love for poolside afternoons, beach vacations, and traveling to new places with her husband Joe Blair brought her endless happiness. Lisa and Joe were married on August 5, 2015, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father William Linn, stepmother Peggy Linn, aunt Linda Hartline, Bernice Payne, Dawn White, and Uncle Doug White. She is survived by her three children: Sara-Linn Williams (Albert), Tyler Williams, and Cruiz Cox; her stepchildren and numerous step-grandchildren; her bonus daughter Danyelle Gose; and her beloved dog Gypsy Rose. Also surviving are her mother Sherry Linn, brother William Linn (Pepper), husband Joe Blair, and Aunt Joyce Norris. She leaves behind grandchildren KayLinn Cox, Makenzie Wise, Emory Cox, Elena Aquire, and Emily Adams, as well as niece and nephew Chelsey Bennett (Dillon) and Kaleb Pritchard (Morgan).
Lisa bravely battled pancreatic cancer for two years, during which she exemplified strength, grace, and unwavering resilience. Her legacy of love, dedication, and courage will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
