Karen Ann Hallberg, a resident of Holy Cross Village in Notre Dame, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Karen moved to Holy Cross Village in 2019 from Chicago, Illinois, and quickly made friends with many individuals in the Holy Cross Village community. Karen’s quick wit and worldly experiences always provided great conversations.
Karen was born on December 12, 1936, in Niles, Michigan to John and Molly Hallberg. She grew up in St. Joseph, Michigan, and was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic. She graduated college from Marquette University. After a variety of careers and coast-to-coast moves, she retired from the publishing industry.
Karen is survived by her only and younger brother John. As well as several dearly loved friends, both human and furry.
Per Karen’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
