Jeffrey Glancy

Jeffrey Scott Glancy, 53, of Laporte IN passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2025. He was born on June 7, 1972, in La Porte, Indiana, to Thomas and Carolyn (Stone) Glancy. Jeff married Kelly Malicki on August 21, 2004, and together they shared over 21 years of love and laughter.

Jeff was a skilled painter who worked throughout the Michiana area for many years. Outside of work, he loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time outdoors. His greatest joy, though, was being with his grandchildren, whom he loved to spoil. Jeff will be remembered for his generosity and his willingness to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Glancy; his children, Jeffery Glancy Jr., Kailee (Joshua) Buczek, and Dakota (Erica) Glancy; his stepson, Dustin Bush; and his grandchildren, Serenity Glancy, Grayson Glancy, Dakota Glancy Jr., Wyatt Buczek, Salem Buczek, and Tessa Glancy and Abigail Bush Also surviving are his stepfather, Robert Lanning; his aunt, Cathy Baxley; and his cousin, Robert Nelson Baxley II. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Plotner and Robert Plotner and both of his parents Thomas Glancy and Carolyn (Stone) Glancy

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at a later time. Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home of Mishawaka has been entrusted with his care.
