Edeltraud L. Farris, 82, of Mishawaka, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Edeltraud was born August 31, 1931 in Pirmasens, Germany, the daughter of the late Robert and Rosa Marie (Weber) Dann. In 1973 she married Billy K. Farris in Pirmasens and moved to Mishawaka. Billy passed away September 11, 1992.
Edeltraud is survived by four daughters, Linda (Ross) Perri of Mishawaka, Billie Farris, Louise (Gregg) Kaniewski and Joann (Tim) Rippey all of South Bend, seven grandchildren; Francesca Marie Perri-Kohler, Gary McCartney, Jr., Frank “Rocco” Perri, Michelle Schmidt, Natasha Scott, Billie Jo Rippey and Ian Rippey, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Edeltraud was a homemaker. She liked to go to Blue Chip and play the slots, loved gardening, cooking and John Wayne movies.
Following Edeltraud’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family.
Arrangements are in the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
