Clarence Edwin Moseng Jr., age 85, passed away in his home, Thursday, July 10, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1940, to Clarence Edwin Sr. and Esther (Wetzel) Moseng. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps, where he served honorably between the Korean and Vietnam wars. He married Sue Ann Hay on March 29, 1959. He worked for several years as a machinist at CG Conn and CTS, before starting his own business, Middlebury Septic Service. He served the community for over 20 years. He then worked at TCU and L.S. Ayres until his retirement.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Sue Ann, of 60 years, his parents, his brother Richard Moseng, his sister Sally Schrader and his brother-in-law Arnie Rosenberg. Surviving are his children, Melissa (Larry), Mitchell (Donna), and Matthew (JoDee), 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, his sister Annie Rosenberg, his brother-in-law Mark Schrader, and his sister-in-law Darlene Moseng.
Sonny enjoyed fishing and hunting, and sitting outside, taking in the world. He had a deep love for animals and always had a dog by his side. His favorite dog was his loyal companion, Poppy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and Sonny will be laid to rest in West Goshen Cemetery with Military Honors.
