Bill Leroy Nash

Bill Leroy Nash, 65, of Mishawaka, passed away on May 11, 2025. Born on July 9, 1959, in Mishawaka, Bill was the son of William L. and Charlotte A. (Nelson) Nash.

Bill is survived by his three children—Alex, Kyle, and Emily Nash—all of Elkhart. He also leaves behind his mother, Charlotte Nash of Mishawaka; his brother, Clay Nash and wife Kathy of Osceola; his nephew, Andrew Nash of South Bend; and his former spouse, Jennifer Nash of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his father, William Nash, and his nephew, Jonathan Nash.

He was a proud fan of Notre Dame Football and never missed a chance to cheer on the Irish. He had a deep love for movies and music and especially enjoyed attending live musical performances. For many years, he generously volunteered his time running the timing system for Mishawaka High School swim meets, something he took great pride in. Bill also retired after a long and dedicated career as a supervisor in the plastics manufacturing industry in Elkhart. He will be remembered as courageous, outgoing, and full of heart and someone who was well-loved by many. His sense of humor, caring nature, and sharp mind left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Mishawaka is honored to be assisting the family during this time.
